We’re Just Getting Started
It struck me late one afternoon: Are you an uncontested citizen in a country with widening social polarization? Is that country making an entire class of people illegal? Are those people being persecuted or denied basic human rights? Is there a way you can call attention to this every day?
A great myth has been perpatrated about the Danish King Christian X. It has been conveyed, often as fact, that he wore a yellow Star of David during World War II. Sadly, this is not true, but we can write this into our own history. We have that chance right now, but hopefully not forever.
We can show solidarity with your persecuted brethren by identifying with them. Show the people around you how important these people are to a society, and how desperately they should be permitted to gain recognized legal status. Wear a shirt to show your community how many of the people they see every day could be undocumented. They are our family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors.
United Sates Code 1907, Title 8, Section 1324 defines some of the offenses that undocumented migrants are being charged with in the United States prior to being hunted, abducted, and deported without the Due Process promised to all People who find themselves in the United States.
Loosely speaking, I want to sell these shirts and do two things with the money: Fund a consistent set of organizations whose values stand for freedom of press, speech, religion, expression of love, and existence. A second set of organizations will be gathered from the Community, vetted, and then placed to ballot for the Community to decide where those funds go, using a ranked-choice ballot system.
As things stand, I am a one-man mission. I need help, but I can only offer you the satisfaction of building something amazing, as I have no money, no donors, no marketing; just a couple dozen shirts and a strong will to fight like hell against the rising tide of authoritarianism and anti-egalitarianism.

It all begins with an idea.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
